Biography
While I had studied Spanish prior to getting my undergraduate degree, my courses at Penn State and the opportunity to participate in the Penn State Ronda Study Abroad program made me passionate about continuing to learn Spanish and share my love of the language and cultures with others. I earned my M.A. in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language at the University of Navarra in Pamplona, Spain where I took classes towards my master’s degree while working in the university’s Insitute of Spanish Language and Cultures. In the Institute, I taught 2 introductory Spanish courses (A1, A2) as well as one cultural immersion course in collaboration with Rice University’s study abroad in Pamplona.
