Biography

Dayse is from Belo Horizonte, a city in the southeast of Brazil. She has a B.A in Spanish and Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from Penn State. She has been teaching at Penn State since 2010. She taught Spanish 003 in the past but now she is dedicated only to Portuguese. She teaches beginning, intermediate and advanced classes. She also is a Portuguese course evaluator for classes taken abroad and she also gives the Portuguese proficiency examination. In her free time she likes to work out, spend time with her family, watch Brazilian soap operas and enjoys traveling to learn about different cultures.
