Biography:
My name is Aracely Aragón. I was born in Sonora, Mexico. I graduated from University of Sonora, Mexico where I earned my degree in Hispanic Literature with a major in Education. After my first year of teaching in Mexico, I began my Certification for College Teaching in 2001. In August 2013, I joined the Spanish, Italian, and Portuguese Department at Penn State. In 2015, I obtained a Certificate for College Teaching at the College of Education of Penn State. In 2016 I finished my master’s degree in Education. I obtained a Certificate of Management of Strategies in Educational Institutions offered by Universidad Andres Bello, Chile in the summer of 2007. I am currently studying for a Master’s in Education with a focus on Educational Innovation and Technology. I expect to graduate in the summer of 2022. I have eight years of experience teaching Spanish at the Spanish Basic Language Program, Intermediate Program, and World Campus at the Spanish, Italian and Portuguese Department at Penn State. I am currently teaching Span1 UP and Span 2 UP.
