Biography
Aracely Aragón was born in Sonora, Mexico and graduated from University of Sonora, Mexico where she earned her degree in Hispanic literature with a major in education. After her first year of teaching in Mexico, she began my Certification for College Teaching in 2001. In August 2013, she joined the Department of Spanish, Italian, and Portuguese at Penn State. In 2015, she obtained a Certificate for College Teaching at the College of Education of Penn State. In 2016, she finished her master’s degree in Education.
She obtained a Certificate of Management of Strategies in Educational Institutions offered by Universidad Andres Bello, Chile in the summer of 2007. She has over eight years of experience teaching Spanish at the Spanish Basic Language Program, Intermediate Program, and Penn State World Campus at the Spanish, Italian, and Portuguese Department at Penn State. She currently teaches Span 001 UP and Span 002 UP.
