Biography:
My research interests focus on Spanish-English bilingualism, individual differences among learners, learners’ attitudes towards the target language, learners’ metalinguistic awareness, the effects of crosslinguistic influence, and psychotypology. I have experience teaching English in Puerto Rico, which introduced me in the classroom environment and allowed me to observe the diversity of learners’ attitudes and behavior. This is also enriched by my experience as a foreign language student, which allows me to create learning strategies. During my BA, I studied French and German. Currently, I am studying Mandarin Chinese, Korean and Japanese. In my free time, I enjoy drawing, reading, and singing.
