bilingualism, language contact, language variation and change, Spanish-English contact in Central America


Trevor is a Dual-Title PhD student in Hispanic Linguistics and Language Science. Before attending Penn State, he studied at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, earning a B.A. in Spanish Linguistics and a B.A. in World Politics. His main research interests include language contact, variation, and change with a special focus on cases of Spanish-English contact in Central America. Aside from linguistics, Trevor enjoys watching or playing sports (especially baseball) as well as following politics and current events.
