Biography:

Jason Laine is Director of the Italian Language program at Penn State University Park and author of Italian 001 for Penn State Wold Campus.  He studied at the University of Chicago and the University of Wisconsin – Madison. In addition to teaching language and culture courses, Jason is interested in online learning and technology implementation in the language classroom, translation, Italian cinema and contemporary Italian poetry. He is an active proponent of study abroad and has worked with a variety of programs in Italy.

In 2016 his translation of Ernesto Livorni’s L’America Dei Padri: The Fathers’ America was published by Bordighera Press (VIA – Folios series).
