Biography:

Brunella Brizzi studied Political Science – International Politics major - at the Università degli Studi di Napoli L'Orientale (formerly Istituto Universitario Orientale). She teaches Elementary, Intermediate Italian Language and IT 301 (Pathways to Fluency) at PSU.  

  • FA06 - SP10: Lecturer in Italian and adviser for the Italian Student Society at PSU 
  • SU17: co-director of the PSU Study Abroad Program in Todi, Italy, Language, Art History and Culture
  • SU18: director of the PSU Study Abroad Program in Todi, Italy Language, Art History and Culture
  • SP17 - SP20: Assistant Director of the Italian Language program. 

Major Areas of Interest

Totalitarianism in Europe 1920-1945 – The Holocaust and the Birth of Israel – The Cold War – Anti-Imperialism in Latin America – Italian Republican Politics and Political History. She is also interested in US film/television production and contemporary Italian cinema.  

She loves summer & soccer.
