Applied Option: 21 credits

Students select another field of study in consultation with their Spanish major advisor.  They take 21 credits in that field, including at least 6 credits at the 400-level.  All courses used for option must be approved by Spanish major advisor.

*Heritage speakers (students with Spanish language in family background but not necessarily a native speaker) should take SPAN 100A and SPAN 301 instead of SPAN 100 and SPAN 200.  May not take SPAN 410.

+Students who took SPAN 110 prior to Fall 2013 may substitute 110 in place of SPAN 200.  The student’s audit will be corrected automatically by the Spanish Department before the student graduates.
