Required Courses

IT 415 (3) or IT 490 (3)

Select 18 credits of which at least 9 credits are courses taught in Italian, and at least 9 credits are at the 400-level (some courses will satisfy both conditions).

For courses taught in Italian, select from: IT 320 (3), IT 325 (3), IT 330W (3), IT 412 (3), IT 422 (3), IT 450 (3), IT 460 (3), or other courses taught in Italian in consultation with major advisor. 

For courses at the 400-level, select from: IT 412 (3), IT 422 (3), IT 450 (3), IT 460 (3), IT 475 (3), IT 480 (3), IT 485 (3), IT 497 (3), or other 400-level Italian courses in consultation with major advisor.

Eight credits from one of the following 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5:

  1. LATIN 001 (4) and LATIN 002 (4)
  2. FR 001 (4) and FR 002 (4)
  3. SPAN 001 (4) and SPAN 002 (4)
  4. PORT 001 (4) and PORT 002 (4)
  5. Foreign Study: IT 001 (4), IT 002 (4), IT 099 (1-12), IT 399 (1-12) or other courses abroad in consultation with major advisor.

Major requirement: 35 credits
