Deadlines and Letters of Recommendation

Deadlines

The deadline for applicants to be considered for the Fall semester is January 15 of that year.  Applications for teaching assistantships/fellowships should be made directly to the head of the department before January 15 for the following academic year.

 

Letters of Recommendation

All applicants must provide at least three letters of recommendation (in English or Spanish), addressed to the Department Head, preferably on official letterhead stationary. The letters should indicate the relationship between the referee and the applicant and address the applicant's performance as well as the potential to undertake graduate studies in the chosen area.
