FAQ - Windows Media Player - Configuring Preferences
Are you using a Windows Media Player and can't hear or see your media files?
Windows XP (or Vista)
- Open Windows Media Player
- Go into the Tools menu along the top --> select Options
- Then click on File Types and check all the audio, video, and MP3 file types
- Then hit Apply then OK
Windows 2000
- Open Windows Media Player
- Go to the Tools menu in your media player
- Then select View --> Options --> formats and select all audio, video, and MP3 files
- Then hit Apply then OK
Over time these check boxes can become unchecked if you use other media players.
